As for the rest of it, a few bags to sort the monsters by color work great. For Gloomhaven, the original insert works great - I think a lot of people don't understand how the monster ability and stat cards are supposed to be stored (vertically in the big section, stat cards indexing ability decks). I find this game way less difficult to organize and set up than Mage Knight or Caverna, which are the only games I've gotten wooden inserts for. I'm hoping the meeple realty overlays will make it easier to manage the cubes because they have a tendency to take over the player board! Otherwise good, solid, reliable fun. You do tend to run out of resource cubes towards the end though, and have to come up with some sort of substitute/work around. Primarily card-based but you can't underestimate the value of tiles either. Terraforming Mars is one of those games where you really can't tell who's winning right up until the end, so you always feel like everything's to play for. There's lots of variety in what you can do and choices to be made and, because each player board is laid out with different action combinations, you get a fresh perspective each time even though the individual actions are essentially the same. Turns are quick and the game just clips along, which is great because my group have very little tolerance for downtime. Scythe's component quality is fantastic, as is to be expected from Stonemaiar. Yes, my group like both these games and request them often. The first one who drops me a message can have it. If someone would like to give these boxes a shot, I still have a 5€ voucher for left. And the height is exactly that of a general 1-hex sized overlay tile. Just put 9 "1-gold" tokens next to each other to get a rough estimate. These boxes are actually smaller than one would think. (Those 8 tiles were just too big and are stored inside a little plastic bag): One for all the different tokens and the monster stands (I included the traps for easy access):Īnd one for the overlay tiles except the 3-hex sized ones. So once you've finished your Gloomhaven campaign eventually (haha, yeah) you'll be able to use them for something else. And these boxes turned out a lot sturdier than expected! This really is a high quality box and definitely something that will last for a life time. It fits all tokens and overlay tiles (except the eight 3-hex sized ones) pretty well. If you're German (or at least German speaking) and won't get this for quite some time just because of the shipping costs, I can highly recommend this double pack from.
